Job summary

Arcadia University in Glenside, PA invites applications for a live-in Residence Life Coordinator who will foster a safe, inclusive, student-centered living environment and supervise Resident Assistants. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Residence Life, Housing, or Student Affairs.
• Experience supervising student leaders.
• Experience supporting students in residential or higher education environments.
• Ability to live in university housing and work evenings/weekends.
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary staff member for an assigned residential community with a visible, approachable presence.
• Lead Cohort-Based Residential Student Experience and promote belonging and student success.
• Coach and develop Resident Assistants including training and performance management.
• Coordinate residential programming and engagement (RA programming, themed communities, events).
• Collaborate with campus partners to address student and community needs.
• Respond to student emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
• Support housing operations including occupancy management and move-in/move-out.
