Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to oversee daily upkeep of the Murfreesboro property. The role requires living on-site during employment and being on-call for emergencies, with duties spanning preventive maintenance, room repairs, and housekeeping coordination.

Responsibilities include maintaining grounds, cleaning, repairing rooms and fixtures, and promptly addressing service requests.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, write and understand English.
• Follow instructions efficiently.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with guests and staff.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in stressful situations.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep grounds clean and free of debris.
• Maintain building including siding and walkways.
• Repair vacant rooms (walls, appliances, furniture, carpet, cabinets).
• Perform maintenance room punch (drywall, paint, repairs, carpet shampoo).
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms.
• Respond to service requests promptly.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Maintain interior hallway carpets.
• Notify supervisor of safety concerns or guest issues.
• Reconcile daily paperwork with supervisor.
• Follow duties per Property Attendant/On-Call guidelines.
