Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to handle daily upkeep across the property, supervise preventative maintenance, and respond to emergencies. The role requires living on-site during employment and following guest agreement guidelines.

The technician will also serve as a Property Attendant part of the week, performing various repairs, safety checks, and routine tasks as directed by supervision. The job offers benefits and a structured maintenance program.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, write and understand the English language to interact with guests and staff.
• Follow instructions efficiently.
• Ability to compose and express thoughts clearly to ensure effective communication.
• Ability to manage multiple activities often in stressful situations.
• Possess working knowledge of electrical systems and components, electrical supplies and materials and the proper application of the same.
• Possess skill and ability to operate hand and power tools (drills, volt-OHM meter, amprobe, etc.).
• Ability to organize oneself and one’s work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that grounds are clean and free of clutter by picking up trash and debris.
• Ensure the building is properly maintained by cleaning siding and walkways.
• Ensure that vacant rooms are in good repair, including walls, appliances, furniture, carpet, and cabinets.
• Conduct maintenance room punch including drywall repairs, paint, general repairs, shampoo carpets.
• Perform preventive maintenance of guest rooms on a scheduled basis.
• Ensure service requests are performed in a timely manner.
• Respond to all emergency calls in a timely manner.
• Maintain interior hallway carpets.
• Notify Supervisor of safety or security violations.
• Notify Supervisor of guest concerns.
• Reconcile daily paperwork with supervisor prior to end of shift.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
