Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to manage daily upkeep of hotel property, perform repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance. The role requires living on the property during employment and being on call for emergencies.

Essential duties include maintaining grounds, cleaning, repairing vacant rooms, scheduling preventive maintenance, and promptly handling service requests. On-call status and co‑role as a Property Attendant are required portions of the job.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to manage multiple activities often in stressful situations.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify needs and parts.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and components; proper application of the same.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Willingness to live on property during employment and be on call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and keep areas clean and free of clutter.
• Maintain building by cleaning siding and walkways.
• Keep vacant rooms in good repair (walls, appliances, furniture, carpet, cabinets).
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms on a schedule.
• Respond to service requests and emergency calls promptly.
• Notify supervisor of safety issues and guest concerns.
• Reconcile daily paperwork with supervisor before end of shift.
• Assist as Property Attendant as needed.
