Job summary

TeamPeople in Maryland seeks a Multi-Skilled Studio Operator to assist the Director in a studio and live playout environment for delivering News content. The MSO will operate various technical systems to facilitate such, and prepare the studio for productions, mic guests, and run the studio during broadcasts.

The core duties include troubleshooting, working with engineering on continuous improvements, and coordinating with the bookings team to track equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a multi-skilled technical operations role.
• Familiar with robotic camera systems (Vinten).
• Experience with lighting concepts and lighting console operation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate technical equipment to support production requirements.
• Support production with cameras, lighting, sound, vision, graphics systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering to drive ongoing development and innovation.
• Report technical issues promptly to minimize impact.
• Coordinate with bookings team to track studio equipment location.
• Dress IFBs, mic guests, and manage guest traffic on set.
