Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person team) to reside in on-campus homes and provide care, guidance, and supervision for 8-13 students. You will help create a structured, family-like environment supporting academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, health monitoring, activity planning, devotions, and budgeting. Both spouses must be married at least two years and be 27 or older, with a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role requires both spouses to be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required; ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and monitoring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.

Skills
