Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Flex Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes and supervise a group of 8-13 students. This full-time, two-person role requires a legally married couple with strong commitment to student development and a willingness to follow a nine-on / three-off schedule, transitioning to a placed home in time.

Responsibilities include mentoring, daily routines, transportation, and leading devotions, with comprehensive benefits and relocation/training support

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
