Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, seeks full-time Flex Houseparents for couples. You will reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, and supervision for a group of 8-13 students, and support their academic, emotional, and social development.

The role involves leading daily activities, devotions, weekend Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. Must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses be 27+. Housing and meals provided with a strong service mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role required; married for at least two years.
• Spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Live on-campus with a group of 8-13 students.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and lead developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
