Wolfoods seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a fast-paced summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and enforce allergen safety protocols in a high-volume environment.

This on-site, live-in position requires strong leadership, culinary expertise, and the ability to thrive under pressure while delivering top-quality meals to campers and staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, cooking skills, and adaptability with ingredient versatility.
• Ability to stand for long periods, operate in hot/cold kitchen environments, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsabilités

• Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain high energy and quality.
• Oversee prep, production, portion control, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergen protocols and sanitation standards.
• Handle inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen staff, campers, and camp leadership.
