Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. This on-site, live-in position requires managing all prep, production, staff, and allergen safety during peak camp season.

You'll lead a high-volume kitchen, ensure menu specs and scratch cooking, and maintain strict sanitation while coordinating with camp leadership. Expect demanding 6-day weeks (70+ hours) with room and board provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in commercial kitchen leadership with scratch & institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, cooking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in rustic camp setting and work 6 days/70 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prep and production for designated day parts.
• Lead, train kitchen staff and maintain a high-energy environment.
• Maintain allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Admin tasks: inventory, reporting and budget support.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers and camp leadership.
