Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rustic on-site summer camp locations across the US. The position covers all prep and production for designated day parts, staff supervision, and allergen safety compliance.

This on-site, live-in role demands a high-energy, disciplined professional who can manage operations in a fast-paced camp kitchen, while ensuring nutrition and safety standards are met throughout the season.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, cooking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work long hours in hot/cold kitchen environments.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen protocols and sanitation standards compliance.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
