Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead kitchen operations at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This on-site, live-in position requires resilience, strong leadership, and the ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining top sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, ability to navigate iPad, versatile with ingredients, able to identify all Big 9 Allergens, and sharp problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Manage operations flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
