Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. This seasonal contract runs May through September, with a demanding 6‑day, 70‑hour work week and live-in arrangements.

You will lead kitchen staff, manage prep and production for designated day parts, oversee allergen safety, inventory, and reporting, and serve as a liaison between campers and camp leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership and cooking skills; able to navigate iPad and identify Big 9 Allergens.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in hot/cold kitchen, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ready to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6‑day, 70‑hour week.
