Brown University is seeking a Residential Area Coordinator to implement Brown’s residential curriculum and year experiences within undergraduate residences. The role involves fostering resident growth, responding to concerns, and supervising student staff as part of Campus Life’s supportive team.

Reporting to an Assistant Director, you will collaborate with colleagues across offices to deliver a dynamic living-learning environment aligned with Brown’s Liberal Learning Goals.

Qualifications

• Understanding of student learning and development principles.
• Experience addressing diverse student populations.
• Ability to implement programs responsive to resident needs.

Responsabilités

• Foster growth and development of residents and supervise paraprofessional staff.
• Respond to community concerns and address policy violations.
• Support administrative and operational functions for the Strategic Assessment and Student Experience team.
• Collaborate with professional colleagues and campus partners to deliver a co-curricular living-learning environment.
