Brown University is seeking a Residential Area Coordinator to implement and support the residential curriculum and co-curricular experiences for undergraduate housing. You will supervise student staff, handle community concerns, and collaborate with Campus Life to deliver a learning-centered living environment aligned with Brown’s Liberal Learning Goals.

The role is 12 months, live-in (one or two-bedroom apartment provided) with a partial meal plan; three-year fixed-term.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 2+ years in higher education/student affairs with admin exp, incl. supervising paraprofessional staff.

Responsabilités

• Supervise a student staff team and respond to community concerns.
• Address policy violations and support administrative functions for the team.
• Participate in the university's after-hours on-call system and respond to student emergencies.
• Work nights and weekends as required.
