Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One (1) year (including undergraduate/graduate work) in student affairs.
• Active driver’s license.
• Possess strong supervisory, counseling, organizational, administrative and effective leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment and relate with students, parents, and faculty/staff.
• Experience developing and administering Living Learning Communities in a Residence Hall.

Aufgaben

• Operation and Administration of the building: day-to-day supervision and administrative operation of a residence hall serving 175–300 students.
• Participate in on-call crisis rotation to respond to incidents for about 2,000 undergraduates.
• Develop and implement student-development based programming and LLCs.
• Foster belonging by building relationships with students and maintain visibility in the hall.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate 5–8 Community Advisors.
• Recruit and advise in-hall student leadership group, including budgeting and planning.
• Serve on departmental and division-wide committees.
• Complete required trainings on systems, university and job-specific topics.
