Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara (HACSB) is opening a Property Management position for 3055 De La Vina. The on-site role will manage daily operations, tenant relations, eligibility, and lease compliance for a new 31-unit studio property opening December 2026.

Successful candidates will oversee rent calculations, program eligibility, and coordination with service providers. On-site supervision, evening/weekend coverage, and strong customer service are essential requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years of responsible experience in residential property management.
• Knowledge of housing assistance programs and Section 8.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the on-site property including tenant relations and eligibility.
• Determine initial and continuing eligibility for Authority programs and Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher.
• Review residents' eligibility and recertify rent; update leases as needed.
• Maintain waitlist and respond to tenant issues; ensure lease compliance.
