Job summary

The Salvation Army Santa Rosa Silvercrest is seeking a Property Manager to oversee on-site housing operations in Santa Rosa, CA. You will ensure property maintenance, tenant certifications, and compliance with HUD guidelines while living on-site.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in affordable housing, strong communication, and proficient computer skills. On-site residency is mandatory with after-hours on-call responsibilities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in affordable housing.
• Knowledge of HUD policies (Section 8) and MORs/REAC inspections.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills and property management software experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement procedures for building management per Silvercrest Manual and Salvation Army policies.
• Schedule and oversee property inspection, maintenance, tenant certs, leasing, and safety.
• Manage loss prevention, risk, safety, security, and day-to-day maintenance tasks.
• Maintain resident files, prepare reports, and communicate with Salvation Army officers.
• Represent The Salvation Army positively and handle on-site emergencies and on-call duties.
