Job summary

Sandpiper Hospitality is seeking an On-Site Manager in Manassas, VA. This high-responsibility role requires you to live on-site at the hotel and oversee weekend operations and overnight on-call coverage (Wednesday-Sunday).

You will act as Manager on Duty, partnering with the GM to maintain guest satisfaction and brand standards. You will manage the Front Desk team and weekend staff, supervise housekeeping and maintenance, monitor budgets and payroll, and ensure continuous operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must live on-site or within 30 minutes when on call.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing front desk, housekeeping and maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead Front Desk team and weekend staff, including hiring, trainings and performance appraisals.
• Direct weekend operations and overnight on-call coverage.
• Assist GM with budgeting, payroll approvals and financial controls.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and compliance with brand standards.
• Support sales efforts to maximize hotel revenues.
• Provide back-up coverage for front desk/housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain security for guests, staff and property.
