Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camps across the US. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, supervise staff, and enforce strict allergen safety protocols in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

This seasonal contract requires a proactive leader who can manage high-volume operations, maintain quality, and live on-site for the duration of the season.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities; able to navigate I-Pad and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain a high-energy environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking.
• Strict allergen and safety compliance, managing allergy protocols.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Act as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
