Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and strict allergen safety protocols in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This on-site, live-in position requires readiness to work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week and to manage a team across multiple facilities while delivering exceptional dining experiences for campers with diverse dietary needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens required before start date).

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary quality, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place orders, control budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
