Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a summer camp. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume, on-site setting.

This live-in position requires a minimum 6-day/70-hour week schedule, with room and board provided. You will lead a team across multiple facilities, ensuring high-quality scratch cooking and exceptional service for campers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Proficiency with budgeting and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee all culinary operations, ensure quality, portion control, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety compliance and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
