Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership position at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee daily culinary operations, supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This on-site, live-in role offers a competitive seasonal pay, bonus opportunities, and comprehensive room & board for the duration of the contract.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens) required before start date; company‑sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Manage operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Enforce allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan) and sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Handle inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Liaise between kitchen, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods office.
