Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp program. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and strict allergen safety across high-volume meal service.

This on-site, live-in position requires 4+ years in kitchen leadership, ServSafe certification, and a readiness to work in a fast-paced environment with a 6‑day/70‑hour week.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required; allergens knowledge essential.
• Ability to live on-site in rustic camp setting and manage a high-volume operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary quality, portion control, menu specs, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety compliance and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, food orders, budgeting, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and Wolfoods corporate office.
