Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced, high-energy Kitchen Manager to lead daily culinary operations at a rural summer camp. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, while upholding quality.

This on-site, live-in role requires a 6‑day, 70-hour week and the ability to thrive under pressure. We offer competitive seasonal pay, bonus opportunities, free room and board, travel allowance, and the chance to shape a vibrant camp dining

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operations, culinary quality, portion control, and timely service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Control inventory, food orders, and daily budgeting/reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods office.
