Job summary

Wolfoods Food Services is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp network. You will oversee all daily culinary operations, manage staff, budgeting, and allergen safety, ensuring high-quality, scratch cooking for campers.

This on-site, live-in position requires readiness to work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen with competitive seasonal pay, bonuses, room and board, and travel support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in kitchen leadership with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen staff and schedule/train.
• Oversee operations, quality, and allergy safety.
