Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our on-site rural summer camps. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety and sanitation in a fast-paced environment.

The role is seasonal (May–Sept), 6 days a week, with support for room and board, competitive pay, a bonus structure, and travel allowances as part of our commitment to a vibrant camp community.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, timely meal service.
• Strict allergen and safety compliance; maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Act as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
