Job summary

Soar Staffing, LLC is seeking a Resident Manager / Live-In Superintendent to oversee daily operations and maintenance of a large affordable housing rental building. The role combines hands-on facilities management with team supervision to provide a safe, comfortable living environment for residents.

As the Live-In Super, you will be the primary contact for tenant needs, building systems, and safety compliance, coordinating with contractors and vendors on upgrades while managing the facilities

Qualifications

• Experience managing facilities teams and operations.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Proven safety compliance and training capabilities.
• Experience with CMMS for work orders and maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise maintenance teams across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general systems.
• Oversee live-in operations and resident services to ensure a safe living environment.
• Conduct regular inspections and safety drills; enforce safety policies.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for projects within budget.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance procedures and safety inspections.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and emergencies.
