Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents for a married couple. Roles involve living in on-campus homes, supervising 8–13 students, and guiding their academic, emotional, and social development.

Two-spouse teams, married at least two years, both aged 27+, are invited to apply. Benefits include housing, meals on duty, and comprehensive insurance. Training and relocation support offered.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse partnership with at least two years married.
• Spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children per home.
• Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one approved dog.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Willingness to lead daily devotions and attend Sunday Chapel.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
