Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents — a two-person, married couple role living on campus to care for 8-13 students, guiding their academic, emotional and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, devotions, and coordinating activities; spouses both must be 27+ and legally married for at least two years; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
