Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this on-campus role, couples reside in student homes, provide care and supervision for 8–13 students, and work a nine-on/three-off schedule that transitions to a placed home later.

The position includes housing and meals on duty, medical/dental/vision benefits, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off. Minimum two years married; age 27+ requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple required.
• Both spouses aged 27+.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limits: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students.

• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities with students
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
