Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8-13 students to foster academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include supervision, routines, medications, transportation, devotions, chapel, and budgeting. Schedule begins with nine days on, followed by three off, and progression to a placed houseparent role with a

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• This is a two-person role for couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
