Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising about 8–13 students and supporting their academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, transportation, devotions, and budgeting. The role starts with nine days on, then three off, with transition toPlaced Houseparent over time.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
