Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents who are legally married couples to provide care and guidance for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. The role includes supervision, scheduling, activities, devotions, and budgeting.

Training and relocation assistance are provided. Couples live on campus, follow a nine-on, three-off schedule, and may transition to a placed houseparent role after initial assignment.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth is required.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Able to lead daily devotions and attend Sunday Chapel services.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and support student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in development/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
