Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8-13 students, fostering academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, and participating in devotions and Sunday Chapel. The path includes nine days on duty, then three off, with transition to a placed houseparent role over

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse couple must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in development and recreation.
