Wolfoods seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our on-site rural camp kitchens. You will supervise prep, production, and staff, ensuring delicious, scratch-made meals while enforcing allergen safety protocols.

This full-time seasonal position runs May through September, with a minimum 6-day/70-hour week in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Room and board are provided onsite, with travel allowances for the team.

Qualificações

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a hands-on management style.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume camp kitchen environment.
• Comfortable standing long hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain high-energy operations.
• Oversee recipe execution, portioning, and scratch cooking for service windows.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation per Health Dept. standards.
• Support inventory, ordering, and daily reporting to stay within budget.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
