Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Manager for a seasonal, on-site role at a rural summer camp network across the United States. You will supervise daily culinary operations, lead a high-volume kitchen, and model professional standards in a fast-paced, live-in environment.

Responsibilities include staffing, budgeting, menu specs, allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan), inventory control, and collaboration with camp leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified required; Allergens knowledge and compliance preferred.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work in a live-in, high-volume camp environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary quality, flow, portion control, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, purchasing, budgeting, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, leadership, and Wolfoods office.
