Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Food Service Operations Director for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities. This on-site, live-in position oversees daily culinary and service operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years leading commercial kitchens with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens certification required before start.
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand long hours, work in hot/cold kitchens, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff to maintain high energy and standards.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, and timely meals.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and Health Department sanitation compliance.
• Handle inventory, purchasing, budgeting, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods HQ.
