Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Director for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities. You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced environment.

This is a live-in, seasonal contract (May–Sept) with 6-day, 70-hour weeks, requiring strong leadership and a commitment to high-quality, scratch cooking and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; Allergens certification required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and computer literacy skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee daily operations, menu specs, portion control, and scratch cooking.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and health sanitation standards.
• Control budgets, inventory, and daily reporting; act as liaison with campers and leadership.
