Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Director to lead all daily culinary and service operations at our on-site rural summer camp facilities. This hands-on role requires strong leadership and operational excellence.

You will manage staff, budgeting, allergen safety protocols and ensure scratch cooking in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining top quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; Allergens required before start date (company-sponsored).

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking execution.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, and track daily reporting.
• Serve as the main liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
