Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking a high-energy Food Service Operations Director for a hands-on leadership role at our on-site summer camp facilities across the United States. You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety, ensuring top-quality, scratch-made meals in a fast-paced setting.

The position is on-site, live-in, with a demanding 6-day/70-hour week and a competitive seasonal pay structure plus bonus, room & board, and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, work in hot/cold kitchen settings, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, timely meal service.
• Strict allergy safety protocols and top Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate.
