Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Director for a hands-on leadership role at our on-site summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This seasonal, full-time role requires living on-site in rustic settings and working six days a week with long hours.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; ServSafe Allergens required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in hot/cold kitchen environments; 6-day/70-hour weeks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary quality, scratch cooking, portion control, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergen protocols and sanitation standards per Health Department guidelines.
• Handle inventory, food orders, budgeting, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
