Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Director for a live-in, on-site leadership role at our summer camps across the US. You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, staff supervision, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This on-site, seasonal contract requires a 6-day/70-hour week with full room and board provided for the duration of the project. Competitive pay, a bonus, and travel allowance are included.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens) required before start; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH and kitchen staff; schedule and train a high-energy team.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely service.
• Enforce allergen safety protocols and maintain sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, and track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
