Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Operations Director for an on-site, live-in, seasonal role at rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, lead staff, manage budgets, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This on-site position requires a strong leader willing to work 6 days/70 hours per week, May through September, with competitive pay, a bonus structure, and full room & board for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; Allergens certification required before start date
• Strong leadership, budgeting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in hot/cold kitchen settings, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to live on-site in rustic setting and work 6 days/70 hours weekly

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train Front of House and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place orders, control budgets, and maintain daily reporting.
• Serve as the main liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
