Job summary

Legends Global seeks an Event Manager in Glendale, AZ to lead large-scale events, coordinate operations, and supervise staff across multiple departments. You’ll partner with clients, facility teams, and vendors to ensure seamless execution from setup through breakdown.

The role requires strong planning, safety knowledge, and excellent communication, with flexibility for evenings and weekends during peak events. This position is based on-site at a major venue in Glendale.

Qualifications

• Two (2+) years of increasingly responsible experience in event management or convention services.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain a current CPR certificate.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and staff supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events and oversee event operations, staffing, and logistics.
• Manage event operations center and 24/7 technology platforms as needed.
• Ensure compliance with fire, safety, and building codes and maintain safety records.
• Collaborate with clients, exhibitors, promoters, and venue staff to meet event needs.
• Prepare reports, floor plans, and documentation for events; liaise with fire marshal as required.
• Provide excellent guest services and oversee security, safety, and guest experiences.
• Act as Manager on Duty for events and assist with staffing and resource planning.
