Job summary

Legends Global seeks a Senior Events Manager for the Tucson Convention Center complex in Tucson, AZ. You will supervise Event Services staff, coordinate contracts and service vendors, and serve as the primary liaison between clients and facility departments to ensure successful events.

The ideal candidate has facility management experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred.
• 2–4 years related public facility management experience.
• Theater experience is a plus.
• Experience with facility management principles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff and oversees all aspects of facility operations related to events.
• Coordinate activities with service contractors for events.
• Plan and organize assigned meetings and events with client groups.
• Guide clients in preparation of events by interpreting contracts and policies.
• Prepare cost estimates and monitor final billing.
• Maintain event records and provide timely communication to departments and clients.
• Serve as MOD and liaison between clients and facility departments.
• Ensure successful events and maintain professional image.
