Job summary

Insomniac is seeking a highly motivated Production Assistant to support Back of House operations for its live events. This non‑remote role reports to the Back of House Manager and requires strong organization, vendor liaison skills, and the ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work evenings or weekends.

The applicant should be fluent in coordinating with multiple vendors, managing advance documents, and ensuring clear communication across production teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent comprehension and retention in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Effective and concise communication in electronic and verbal mediums.
• Adaptive in fast-paced environments.
• Seasoned in event planning, management, and coordination.
• Well versed in communicating with multiple vendors and advancing event production needs.
• High ability to balance multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
• Proven track record to meet deadlines.
• Motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude.
• Active problem solver with urgency for projects large and small.
• Able to stand or walk continuously and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in developing, organizing and executing festival area operations.
• Contribute to compiling advance documents for festival areas.
• Act as Vendor Liaison for production areas.
• Communicate production needs concisely to contributing teams.
• Support organization of advance documents relating to vendors and production departments.
• Assist in organizing advance materials for executive producer branch.
• Facilitate advance credential materials for vendors and staff.
