Job summary

Insomniac is seeking a proactive Production Assistant to support Back of House operations for live events. This on-site role collaborates with the Back of House Manager and cross-functional teams to move advance documents, credentials and vendor communications forward.

You will leverage Excel, Word and PowerPoint for planning, with a focus on timely execution in a high-energy environment and the ability to adapt to changing event needs, often during evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced event settings and coordination with multiple vendors.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to relay production needs clearly.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work extended hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in developing, organizing and executing different festival area operations.
• Contribute to compiling advance documents relating to several festival areas.
• Act as a Vendor Liaison for all related areas of production.
• Communicate production needs to contributing teams in a concise, effective manner.
• Support in document organization relating to advancing, set up documents and vendor communications.
• Assist in organization of advance documents for executive producer components.
• Facilitate advance credential materials for vendors and staff.
