Job summary

Insomniac Events is seeking a proactive Production Assistant to support the Back of House department for live events. This role reports to the Back of House Manager and is not remote, requiring on-site presence in California as part of a dynamic production team.

The candidate should excel at organization, communication, and handling multiple tasks in fast-paced festival environments, with a strong eye for detail and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Excellent comprehension and retention in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Effective and concise communication in electronic and verbal mediums.
• Adaptive in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in developing, organizing and executing different festival area operations.
• Contribute to compiling advance documents relating to several festival areas.
• Act as a Vendor Liaison for all related areas of production.
• Communicate production needs concisely to all contributing teams.
• Support in document organization relating to advancing, set up documents and correspondence with vendors.
• Assist in organization of advance documents relating to the executive producer branch in our organizational chart.
• Facilitate the advance credential materials for all related vendors and staff involved with the projects.
