Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment in Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated events staff member to support day-of-show operations, guest services, and security coordination. You will work with the Ops Manager and Security Manager to ensure smooth shows and a safe, welcoming experience for guests.

The role requires upholding responsible alcohol service standards, responding to guest inquiries, completing incident reports, and assisting with ejections and post-shift communication.

Qualifications

• Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent.
• Working knowledge of high-volume nightclub operations and responsible alcohol service.
• Guest relations and staff relations skills.
• Ability to prioritize duties and communicate effectively.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with an upbeat attitude.
• Great conflict resolution skills.
• Read guests to anticipate their needs.
• Turn negative situations into positives.
• Communicate well with team members and managers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Ops Manager and Security Manager to perform day of show duties.
• Respond to elevated staff/guest inquiries and concerns regarding shows, meet and greet packages, amenities.
• Address guest concerns and complaints related to security and customer service.
• Follow up with Security and Guest Services to ensure service standards are met.
• Perform opening/running/closing duties per Live Nation policy.
• Maintain atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting issues.
• Suggest venue products and services when applicable.
• Stay current on SOPs and communicate them to staff.
• Create pre-shift sheets and relay info from management to staff.
• Turn in lost and found items to Guest Services.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service per policy.
• Maintain line of sight across guest contact points and secure Back of House areas.
• Lead all pre-shift meetings.
• Report issues to M.O.D. and resolve guest problems.
• Complete incident reports and witness statements.
• Assist MOD with ejection logs and incident reports.
• Work Specials events scheduled at the venue.
